Abstract

|
The data for this qualitative case study on women’s attitudes toward divorce were gathered through in-depth interviews with ten women whose husbands had been involved in extramarital affairs. Three categories of response emerged: 1) resigned to divorce; 2) impossibility of divorce; and 3) delaying the divorce. Results of this study were discussed in terms of implications for family therapy practice and for future research in this area.
